Alfalfa: The Father of All Foods
Alfalfa can be seen as an important hay crop for farmers. I have had the good fortune of living near fields of alfalfa most of my life. Alfalfa is
an inexpensive herbal supplement and it may prevent atherosclerosis!
Alfalfa has an interesting history that goes back as early as 490 B.C. and it was highly valued by the Greeks. The Arabs called it al-fasfasah, "the best fodder."
Alfalfa may prevent hardening of the arteries! I have used this herb for years and the wonderful part is, it is dirt cheap! Don't let alfalfa (nutritional powerhouse) be overlooked in your life, buy some today!
WARNING: If you have lupus, avoid alfalfa, even the sprouts. Herbal researchers believe that this herb can encourage relapses of the disease after remission.
Yours in good health,

In "Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs", I found a good amount of information on alfalfa years ago. Mr. Heinerman stated that alfalfa is rich in chlorophyll content and that other green plants like it, were used by some doctors in major hospitals in the 1940's. Apparently, the doctors used the humble herb to treat infections resulting from surgical incisions, inner ear problems, and bed sores. Heinerman continued to talk about using the fresh juice of the alfalfa plants to get the full healing effect.
Mr. Heinerman aroused my curiosity, so I blended some alfalfa plants with six cups of water. I used a good handful of the alfalfa plants to make this soupy looking paste. Next, I drained
it through a tea strainer and drank about three cups of this a day for one week. It tasted terrible, like I thought it would, but I was amazed at what happened next!

Alfalfa is Rich in Chlorophyll Content
Over ten years ago I had a bad case of acne on my back and it was embarrassing to say
the least. The alfalfa juice cleared up all of my acne! The super nutrition content,
combined with the high amounts of chlorophyll, made this herb an extraordinary healer.
If I only knew about this herb in high school!
Years later I worked at a job where I sold diamonds and the young man I worked with had bad acne. He was a great diamond seller, but he was concerned with what people would
say about his acne. I told him about my alfalfa experience and he said he wanted to try it. He went to a nutrition store and purchased some alfalfa tablets and a bottle of zinc. He
took six alfalfa tablets a day and one zinc pill. Also, I encouraged him to drink six glasses
of water a day.
One week later his acne was gone! All the employees in the diamond store were amazed and could not believe it. After his positive experience, other employees including my boss wanted to know more about my herbal knowledge. I can not over emphasize how powerful herbal medicine really is, once you have learned how to use it, your life will never be the same! Before I make any herbal formula, I research and use the best herbal information I
can find from many different valid sources.
Diabetes: "Heinerman's Encyclopedia of Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs", reported about a diabetic who failed to respond to insulin, but improved after using alfalfa extracts along with
a good amount of manganese supplementation.
